This privacy policy applies to the EatOut app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Thoroughness Foundation / Eatout India (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages
• The operating system and hardware model used on your mobile device

Location Information

The Application collects your device's precise and approximate location (GPS coordinates) only when actively in use by restaurant owners, administrators, or users. This location data is used strictly for the following purposes:

• Restaurant & Outlet Setup: To accurately capture and set restaurant coordinates on the management dashboard.
• Service & Delivery Radius: To calculate delivery feasibility and show relevant location-based dining services.
• Dashboard Mapping: For seamless map integrations and real-time navigation.

Note: We do not collect or track your location in the background when the app is closed. Location data is never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

Storage & Media Access

The Application requires access to your device's local storage and media files solely to:

• Download and locally save generated reports, documents, QR code standees, and images directly to your device's Downloads folder.
• Allow restaurant administrators to select and upload restaurant logos, banners, and menu photos directly from the gallery.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• When disclosure is necessary to protect rights, user safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• With trusted service providers who work on their behalf and adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may also disable location permissions at any time through your device settings.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us at ocsmind@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it is immediately deleted from our servers.

Security

We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your information processed and maintained within the Application.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this page regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all updates.
